Nature of Listings: We provide listings for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, Aligned Local does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any business listed.
No Endorsement: The inclusion of a business in our directory does not constitute a formal endorsement. Users engage with listed businesses at their own risk.
3. Business Submissions & "The Gatekeeper" Policy By submitting a business listing to Aligned Local, you agree to the following:
Authority: You represent that you are the business owner or an authorized representative with the right to bind the business to these Terms.
Editorial Discretion: Aligned Local reserves the right to edit, categorize, reformat, or modify your listing to ensure consistency with our style guide. We may rewrite descriptions for clarity or SEO purposes.
Right to Reject: Aligned Local is a curated platform. We reserve the absolute right to reject, suspend, or remove any listing at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Common reasons for rejection include:
Incomplete information.
Content that does not align with our "Conscious Business" values.
Low-quality or watermarked images.
4. User Content & Licensing You retain ownership of the text, photos, and media ("Content") you upload. However, by uploading Content, you grant Aligned Local a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your Content in connection with the Service and our marketing efforts (including social media).
5. Prohibited Content You agree not to submit Content that is:
Lewd, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
Hateful, discriminatory, or harassing.
Infringing on any third party’s copyright or trademark.
False, misleading, or fraudulent.
Violation of this section will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.
6. "Claiming" & Verification
Claiming: Business owners may "claim" an existing listing to manage it. You may be required to provide proof of ownership (e.g., email verification, phone call) to complete this process.
Disputes: In the event of a dispute over ownership of a listing, Aligned Local reserves the right to request documentation and determine the rightful owner at our sole discretion.
7. Premium Features & Fees If you purchase a "Premium" or "Verified" plan:
Payment: Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via our third-party payment processor.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds: All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.
8. SMS & Marketing Communications (TCPA) By submitting your phone number via our forms, you expressly consent to receive marketing and administrative text messages from Aligned Local (e.g., listing approval status, premium offers). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt-out by replying STOP.
9.
